Kathmandu – Nepali cricket team’s fast-paced bowler Abhinash Bohara is set to undergo surgery. In the Prime Minister’s Cup One Day National Tournament, Nepal Army Club faced Province 2 on Tuesday at the TU Cricket Ground, where Bohara sustained an injury to his left hand during the course of the game.
In the 49th over of the intense spell, Rupesh Singh, in his second ball, struck Bohara, causing him to suffer an injury. This information was shared by the cricket manager of the Armed Police Force (APF), Rajesh Shrestha.
“At present, he is at Bayodha Hospital. Abhinash is slated for surgery due to the injury he sustained during the competition. He will be missing this tournament,” Rajesh Shrestha informed our players.
After the injury to his hand, Abhinash had to leave the field. Following some initial treatment, he returned to bat.
